Malini Rao is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience in complex matters who is Of Counsel at Ziliak Law.
Before joining Ziliak Law, Ms. Rao was employed at Dilworth Paxson LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she worked on and handled all aspects of litigation in cases involving the False Claims Act, tax appeals, construction litigation, and minority shareholder rights. Prior to that, Ms. Rao served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Special Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General in Chicago, Illinois for over six years. She had a diverse practice that included litigating and investigating qui tam matters filed under the False Claims Act as well as cases alleging environmental violations, consumer fraud, and constitutional challenges to state statutes.
Ms. Rao earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Political Science and a minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
