Ms. Marderosian began her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County in the appellate and juvenile division, where she authored briefs, stood for oral argument, and worked in a special prosecution unit assigned to the most violent juvenile offenders. From there, she served as the Director of Investigations for Chicago Public Schools, a department responsible for investigating allegations of wrongdoing and abuse among CPS employees.
After leaving the public service sector, Ms. Marderosian worked with large Chicago and Los Angeles law firms, expanding her practice to include white-collar criminal defense and securities litigation. She has assisted in the representation of broker-dealers and customers in court proceedings and FINRA arbitration. She has also represented corporations and executives throughout investigations by United States government agencies, including the SEC, USAO, and EPA, served as co-counsel in a $31,000,000 arbitration related to corporate acquisition/Medicare regulation, and conducted internal corporate investigations of violations of state and federal environmental and technology export laws.
Ms. Marderosian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in 1991 and received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 1994.
