Catherine Yin

Ms. Catherine Yin is a securities and corporate attorney, specializing in securities regulations including Title II and Title III of the JOBS Act as well as the 1933 Securities Act and 1934 Exchange Act. Ms. Yin previously worked as a senior attorney at a boutique securities law firm in New York City focused on taking companies public on Nasdaq and NYSE; as a Legal Counsel to a U.S. publicly reporting company; as an associate at a mid-sized securities law firm in New York; and as a Legal Intern with the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Trading and Markets, of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. Yin has also worked with various technology startups and advised blockchain/crypto companies on U.S. securities and regulatory issues.

Ms. Yin received her J.D. degree from University of Iowa College of Law in 2013. She also received a Master of Science degree from University of St. Andrews, UK and read Economics at Fudan University.

Ms. Yin enjoys hiking, practicing Thai boxing and appreciating arts when she is not practicing law. In her free time, she is also a coach in performance training.
