Alyssa Yoshino began at Ziliak Law as a Law Clerk in the Spring of 2023 and is now an Associate. She works in the Entertainment & Media, Intellectual Property, Business and Corporate, Litigation, and Blockchain practices.
She assists Ziliak Law’s clients with a variety of projects including procuring trademark and copyright registrations, drafting litigation documents, drafting and reviewing contracts, and conducting legal research.
Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree at Claremont McKenna College in 2016 and her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a certificate in Intellectual Property in 2023. As a law student, Alyssa earned experience as the Managing Editor of the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property and earned the Best Oralist team award at the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition.
Alyssa has a diverse background in law, life sciences, public health, fitness, and music. As a musical artist, she is particularly interested in copyright and trademark law. When not practicing law, Alyssa enjoys weightlifting, songwriting, playing video games, and watching movies or television shows.
In 2024, Alyssa Yoshino's article "Failure to Function: A Potential New Shield Against Trademark Infringement" was published in IP Theory.
