Stephanie Bowman


Stephanie Bowman Arsenty is experienced in residential and commercial mortgage foreclosure defense litigation, commercial litigation, contract disputes, real estate closings, landlord/tenant law, and entertainment law.

Stephanie graduated from Western Illinois University, magna cum laude, in 2002 with a BA in Music Business. At Western, she was a member of the Illinois Centennial Honors College and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. After graduating from Western, she worked in the field of non-profit development and fundraising.

Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2010, graduating cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law in the top 15% (30 of 267) of her class where she received the Merit Scholarship for her academic work. While attending law school, she participated in the Animal Law Review (Animal Law) at Lewis & Clark Law School and earned the Pro Bono Service Award for her work assisting victims of domestic violence. Stephanie served as a judicial extern for Justice Anne Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court in the spring of 2010.

Stephanie is a member of the Illinois Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois General Bar with Bankruptcy Court certification. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Association of Foreclosure Defense Attorneys. Additionally, she volunteers for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) as foreclosure mediation and litigation counsel and with the O’Hare Airport Legal Team.

Stephanie was awarded the Alumni Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award by Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2017.
